Mary Jane Szydlowski MS LMHC
has been providing mental health services in Western New York to children and families for over 30 years. MJ's background includes work in school counseling and school success, women's health care and sexuality, adolescent residential services, teenage runaways, and family counseling.
Ms. Szydlowski has a long history as a School Counselor in the Williamsville Central School District. A New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor, MJ is an adjunct faculty member in the Counseling and Human Services Graduate Program at Canisius College. She is a frequent speaker and trainer on variety of mental health issues including anxiety, school success, ADHD, and media impact on the development of girls' self image. MJ has extensive experience with children, families and the challenges of life changing events.

Ms. Szydlowski has had extensive post-graduate training in many counseling approaches including Solution Focused counseling, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and Gestalt therapy; and in specialized areas of treatment such as grief and loss, trauma and various creative approaches including sand tray. She is a certified True Colors trainer.
